SIGN-UPSRegistration for all boys and girls in grades 3-8 who are interested in participating in the Holy Redeemer CYO basketball program this winter has begun. Registration is required prior to participation. ALL CYO PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER ON-LINE WITH THE CYOOFFICE! TO REGISTER TO PLAY FOR HOLY REDEEMER YOU MUST BRING A COPY OF THE CYO REGISTRATION RECEIPT AND 2 SEPARATE CHECKS PAYABLE TO THE HOLY REDEEMER ATHLETIC COMMITTEE (HRAC) to the skills evaluation you attend: Uniform deposit $60 per child The check for the Uniform deposit could be dated April 1, 2009. It will be returned to you at the end of the season once your child's uniform has been returned. It will NOT BE DEPOSITED unless the uniform is not returned at the end of the year. To complete the CYO On-line registration go to www.washcyo.com and click in ON-LINE REGISTRATION. Your child MUST be registered to participate in the Skills Evaluations!!!! SKILLS EVALUATIONSSkills evaluations will be conducted on the following dates at Georgetown Prep:
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND AT LEAST ONE OF FIRST TWO SKILLS EVALUATIONS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY ON A HOLY REDEEMER TEAM. TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE VARSITY MID ATLANTIC (7th/8th grade) OR JV TOURNAMENT (5th/6th grade) TEAMS YOU SHOULD ALSO PLAN TO ATTEND THE 3RD EVALUATION. COACHING OPPORTUNITIESIf you are interested in coaching please let us know as we are always looking for volunteers. All coaches will be required to complete the Archdiocese of Washington's Protecting God's children program and will need to be fingerprinted.If you have any questions please call Gregg Dyer (301) 943-2995.
